Active Places Reloaded
Description
Active Places is basically a terrible website that is very hard to use. We scraped the data and showed how easy it is to make that data available in more useful formats.
We built a KML file for Google Earth and showed the data available on an iPhone.
We built a Ruby on Rails app that provides a simple way to search for local sports facilities and displays them on an embedded Google Map.
