<a href="http://activeplaces.com" title="Active Places">Active Places</a> is basically a terrible website that is very hard to use. We scraped the data and showed how easy it is to make that data available in more useful formats.

<ul>
<li>We built a KML file for Google Earth and showed the data available on an iPhone.</li>
<li>We built a Ruby on Rails app that provides a simple way to search for local sports facilities and displays them on an embedded Google Map.<br />

At the presentations we were pleased to have been selected by Brian Hoadley of <a href="http://direct.gov.uk" title="Directgov">Directgov</a> as a project they'd like to follow up on.
