Description

The NHS website shows a list of pharmacies near a given postcode. I took this data and parsed it in to my web application. This allows it to produce a list which shows which of the pharmacies are currently open and also provides a map to show the location.


Ideas for taking this project forward

I'd like to form an official relationship with the NHS so that data can be provided and kept up to date. My system also allows for different opening times during holiday periods and bank holidays.

About the data used for this project

Scraped data from nhs.uk. It was generally quite good quality. It would be good to get it in a data format, without a complex licensing arrangement.
